The craft is born
In the village of Atreyapuram, East Godavari, skilled artisans began crafting pootharekulu — paper-thin rice sheets filled with pure ghee and jaggery. The sweet earned a GI (Geographical Indication) tag, cementing its roots.

Passed down through generations
Our founders grew up watching grandmothers roll pootharekulu by hand every morning. The recipe was never written — it lived in muscle memory, in the smell of roasted rice flour, in the sound of ghee hitting warm sheets.
