It is crafted from paper-thin rice starch sheets rolled with pure desi ghee and powdered sugar, using a recipe passed down through generations of skilled artisans. Pootharekulu has earned a GI (Geographical Indication) tag, recognising Atreyapuram as its authentic place of origin. At Godavari Svadh, every batch is handcrafted daily from 100% natural ingredients — no preservatives, no artificial flavouring.

Yes — all Godavari Svadh sweets are FSSAI approved and 100% pure vegetarian. We use only pure desi ghee in our recipes — no vanaspati, no palm oil, no shortcuts. Every sweet is made with natural ingredients sourced carefully to match the authentic taste of Atreyapuram. Our sweets contain no artificial colours, no artificial flavouring and no chemical preservatives. What you receive is exactly what skilled artisans have been making in Atreyapuram for generations.

All orders at Godavari Svadh are made fresh on the day of shipping only — we do not pre-pack or stock sweets in advance. Once your order is placed, our artisans prepare your sweets fresh, pack them carefully for transit, and dispatch them on the same day. Shelf life is typically 7 days at room temperature and up to 15 days when refrigerated. We recommend consuming them as soon as possible for the best taste experience.

We deliver across India via trusted courier partners. Standard delivery timelines are: • Metro Cities (Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, etc.) — 3 to 5 Business Days • Towns & Semi-Urban Areas — 4 to 6 Business Days • Villages & Remote Areas — 5 or more Business Days All orders are dispatched within 24 hours of placement. You will receive a tracking link via SMS/email once your order is shipped. Delivery is FREE on all orders.

We currently do not offer Cash on Delivery. Since every order at Godavari Svadh is made fresh and packed exclusively on your shipping day, we are unable to reuse or resell returned orders — making undelivered COD returns extremely costly. Additionally, courier companies charge significant extra fees for COD orders, which would directly increase the product price for everyone. To keep our sweets affordable and freshness guaranteed, we accept only prepaid payments. We accept all major payment methods including UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets — all secured by Razorpay.

Store your Godavari Svadh sweets in a cool, dry place in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight and moisture. At room temperature they stay fresh for up to 7 days. Refrigerating them extends freshness to up to 15 days — allow them to come to room temperature before eating for the best flavour. Avoid storing near strong odours as the delicate rice sheets can absorb them.
